I've been turning pens for a couple of months now and have made about a dozen pens. Been "lurking" this forum for a couple of weeks and have learned a ton. Also been amazed at the level of craftmanship and creativity here.

This is my latest pen. It is walnut and ash PSI Big Ben with a CA finish.

Very nice details in your Celtic Knot. You indeed will need to do a tutorial for the great folks here that re interested in these knots.

BTW, welcome to the Forum! Glad to have you introduce yourself to the rest of us. [:D]

Welcome, Keith. Again, we'd prefer the new folks to post pics of crummy pens so we don't feel so bad about ours. [:p]

The knot is great, but the tapered black segment from tip to cap is my favorite part.

Thank you all for your warm welcome and kind words.

The next time I make a pen like this I will be sure to take some pictures of the process and post it.
