Hello all.

Been turning pens for a while, selling some not so much for profit, but to 'support the hobby'. All kit pens, though I am wanting to branch out to doing some kit modifications, and possibly non-kit, or 'mostly non-kit' pens. Mostly like to do fountain pens, but some rollerball, occasional ballpoint.

Started woodturning to make reel seats for fly fishing rods, which I build as another hobby (too many hobbies, my wife says...got a point, too); turn bowls and such occasionally, but have really fallen for the art of pen making.

Looking forward to tapping some the wisdom of experience here on the forum, and sharing what I can.

Cheers

Ken

Yup, another new Canadian is always nice. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your work. My nephew had someone make an Amboyna reel for his fly rod. Quite a nice piece of work.

One of the most important things is to be able to show off your work here on this site. The following is a great info article on "how to" by Jeff:

This link will lead you to a great place to keep your eye on things. It's kind of a guide to the who, what, and whatever for of the IAP site.

Here is another link - a PDF on the acronyms used here. I am sure you know many but this will help with those you don't.
