I just recently got into pen turning and have some background in hobby carpentry and hand forged blacksmithing (specifically bladesmithing). My day job is in programming and this helps keep me away from the machines once I get home. This site has been a great reference so I decided it's best to quit lurking and step out of the shadows.

Below are some pics of my work. Feel free to critique with impunity. I can take the hits and I'm sure it will help me improve my work.

Thanks everyone. The top pen is african blackwood in Wall Street II kit. The second is cocobolo in a gunmetal Trimline kit.

The knife is completely custom. The blade is hand forged 1084 high carbon steel with nickle silver guard, spacer and mosaic pen. The wood is amboyna burl. Sorry Dan, this one was sold not long after the blade cooled down from my forge.
