Hello from a sunny(ish) south coast of England,

I started wood turning last year, and am really looking forward to delving into the art of pens. Currently, I'm impatiently waiting for the delivery of a couple of Easy Wood micro tools, and hope to have a first go this weekend using some kits that I bought from Axminster Tools and some blanks from Beaufort Ink. I've got both wood and resin blanks - my first big decision will be which to chose!

Welcome! I think you will find lots of good people and information here to help you along! You already found two excellent suppliers to help out - and as you progress, Beaufort is a good source for kitless supplies as well as kit products. Wood or resin - different techniques for each, but both work very well. Have fun!

Welcome from Georgia USA. Was in Southampton last year visiting cousins. My mom was from there and my brother was born there too.
