I found this site by accident when looking for penturning advice and ideas. I'm headed to my first meeting of the Central Texas group. Any advice for newbies would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Joe, from Sydney Australia.
A nice selection of Pens.
A few Comments, your wooden Atlas looks great, the Blank Diameter at the Nib is spot on the fitting.
Unfortunately, your Poly Blanks, appear to be a bit proud of the Nib diameter. Likewise the Bolt Actions also seem to be larger than the bushings / fittings.
If you could turn / sand to the Bush Diameter, your fits will be "Spot On".
Apart from that they look Great,
I look forward to you next posting.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Welcome to IAP from Central Texas. Great people here and tons of good info in the library.
Rick is holding the second Central Texas get together in Belton this Saturday. Hope you come.

Welcome Joe! Wish I could make it to the meeting. I went to the last one and had a great time. This time though I'm 1000 miles away instead of 60.
