Hello everybody I'm from good old England
I have been woodworking for some time now and took up turning September last year but only started pen turning about a month ago. I have turned about 17 pens, 2 pendants, 4 key-rings and 2 letter openers since starting to turn pens.
I find this ideal as I had to give up work due to heart problems. Hope to pick up some good hints and tips on here and also get to know fellow turners:biggrin:

Welcome, Derek!

I'm sure you'll find more than a few good hints around here and I imagine you'll be contributing some hints of your own.

Welcome Derek. With the great experience you already have, Join in the fun here and don't be bashful about posting picts of your work.

Below is a link to a PDF file that goes over many aspects of pen turning from finish - to pens - to tools - to methods etc. It is not in detail but a good overview for pen turning.

A different link along with more information on this forum will be coming in a few weeks, so stay tuned.
