I have been turning pens now for over ten years. Have only turned wood no plastics. Hope to learn some new tricks from other pen workers.

I too have been turning that long but pens are a more recent thing for me. Resisted for years then the club had a demonstration and I had a go and..... you know the rest

I tried plastics about 3 years ago as my sons wanted fountain pens and saw some resin they wanted them in so had to learn. Although I like the results I prefer turning wood.
My own favourite fountain pen is in WENGE must photograph it once I get the hang of photos rather than ipad shots.

i must admit to enjoying making the gadgets to make the pens almost as much as the pen turning currently . Have fun
