I also have this sander. Larry is right, it works fairly well at 90 degrees. I have a little trouble getting the table to remain at 90 degrees so every time I use it I make sure I have a square with me and reset the table. Pain in the you know what.
I was surprised that the price hasn't changed in 5 years.

That isn't the reason for the interest in a disc sander. I, too, have a barrel trimmer. But thanks for the suggestion.

After reading a bunch of reviews about Grizzly's poor customer service. Or, Customer dis-service as one reviewer called it. I hesitate to buy anything from them.
 
I have a floor model disc & belt sander,and use it for just about every thing,comes in handy when you make a CB,glue it to a peice of wood and sq,it up as narrow as you like.. Carl
