This is my first attempt at a herringbone 360. I have seen all these cool looking pens on here I just had to try one. Comments welcome please.

LOOKS great, and the finish looks good too!!!

IF you do it again, use woods that contrast more, so the pattern is more prominent.

JMO!!!!

Thank you. I used Padauk and white oak and before the finish was applied it was more prominent but got a lot darker when I applied finish. I think I will try something with Ebony next time.

IF you use a very white wood, Jason Swanson has convinced me you can keep it white by using compressed air as you sand. It works.
