I purchase guitar bindings and purflings from Stewart-McDonald
www.stewmac.com they are available in a variety of widths, depths
and styles. I hand cut the slot and CA the prurfling. They are a little
sensative to turning, I snapped several caps in the process. [V]

Nice Job Anthony! NOw all we gotta do is a PRS Whale Blue on flame maple.
Been thinking about Gibson Les Paul Honey Burst. But I think my ideas are fast out growing my talents.

Disclaimer....
Personally I am merly replying to the topic, I don't even play the darn things, I'm an old stick man by trade [:)] And the last thing I would want to do is promote www.cavecreekguitar.com I mean he is just my brother[:D] which I only have one of, and come to think of it...he owes me money and I might just go in there and cut up a few guitars and share them with IAP members for pen blanks...[:D]

Thanks for the comments...
Mike, I turned the barrel round, about a 1/8 oversize.
Then cut the slot with a coping saw to the brass tube.
I used a file to keep the slot square as well.
CA the purfling strip in and turn down.
