This free form BAUHINNIA Bowl and four square platters are also newly finished.
Three of the platters are Tasmanian Blackheart Sassafras, and the other is Tassy Blackwood.

Superb artistry again Bob!

I saw a demo several years ago on how to turn the winged platters. Kind of like sticking your gouge into an airplane propeller...:eek:.

Amazing turnings Bob! The wood is simply amazing in color and grain and your turning certainly highlights natures best!!! Can't imagine how you pronounce or spell some of these gorgeous woods names, but it's easy just to say 'Wow!'... Thanks for sharing and safe turning to you always!!!
