A few months ago,I asked here for leads on getting an urn made for my wife who passed away in Sept.
The IAP member that was going to make it couldn't because of the size.I was able to have it made by a member of the San Diego woodturners, and I had asked that it be made with curly maple, walnut and olivewood in a segmented design.I wish I had the talent to do it,but pens and bottle stoppers are all I can do at this time.
My wife liked the pens that I made with those woods,so I thought she would like it.I still need to get the brass plate on the top engraved.
Here's some pics of the urn,It's beautiful just like my dear wife was.
Thanks,
Steve
