Well, let's start with some questions.
- What type of CA are you using, Thick, Thin, Medium (I prefer Med myself)
- Accelerator? I do use it with very good results, but for some people, it's a mixed bag.
- Are you using BLO (Boiled Linseed Oil)?
- How many layers?
- Do you sand between layers? (I don't)
- Do you Dry Sand or Wet Sand (I wet Sand with MM (Micromesh))
- Do you sand lengthwise between MM grits? (I do, turn the lathe of and sand length of barrel in line with Mandrel, hand turn slowly)
- What speed do you sand at?
- Do you polish after? ( I use a plastic polish after Micromesh)
