I will have around $100 to spend this weekend as I have sold a couple tools. I need stuff to be able to drill on the lathe and turn between centers. I know I won't be able to purchase everything this weekend, but here is my list so far:

5/8" Keyed Drill chuck $35.10

MT2 live center $21.96

MT2 Dead Center $12.76

Center Drill $2.29

Other than that all I would need would be a would be either a scroll chuck or a collet chuck correct to drill and turn pens between centers?

That's a little over $72 and change plus shipping. Not too bad. And I'll still have money left over to get my bottle stopper mandrel.

Justin , for drilling on the lathe I think you would be better off with a collet chuck but if you are going to want to do other turnings , like small bowls and boxes a scroll chuck is the way to go . PSI has a collet chuck with 5 collets and a case for about $90 , Amazon sometimes has it for a little less and free shipping . If you go for a scroll chuck DON'T buy one of the cheaper mini chucks , they just aren't good enough for even small bowls . I suggest you get a midi sized one like the PSI Barracuda 2 . It is a key type chuck and comes with 4 jaw sets and a case . Amazon sells it for about $170 with free shipping .

Thanks, but I think my hunnert bucks went out the window last night when I had to replace the tranny pan gasket and front wheel bearing on my wife's car. We'll see.
