I am new to pen turning having only made a dozen or so kits( albeit a variety of different styles), but am looking for some advice on alternative ways to finish my pens. Having only used CA finish, I was wondering if any one had advise on any finishes that would take a CA finish top coat. Something like oils or techniques to bring out the grain and colour of wood and make it pop. Thanks in advance.
