Hello all. I'm Chuck and I started turning about two years ago. A friend purchased a pallet of tools and machines sight unseen. Buried in the pile was a beat up bench top lathe. He gifted it to me. It sat under a bench in my shop for a few month. One evening I pulled it out and made a square piece of wood round.
Today I have a gifted the old bench top machine to my son and turn on a large jet knock off. I turn many pens, bottle stoppers, and Christmas ornaments. I have a few bowls in my portfolio. Bowls are fun to make.
