Hello all!
Just joined the site and I'm very exited to feed my thirst of knowledge for pen turning. I started pen turning a few months ago because I didn't have time to finish large woodworking projects and I'm hooked! I have been gathering resources for materials (burl, buffalo horn, antlers etc.)and have been having great luck. I take great pride in taking raw materials, milling them myself, and turning them into something exquisite. I have made about twenty five pens so far and sold around ten.
I live in Eastern Iowa and have been here my whole life. I've been married to my beautiful wife for five years and we have two gorgeous children. I work in the light construction attachments industry for sixteen years and I'm currently the Shipping & Logistics manager at our facility.
I look forward to building and sharing my knowledge with all of you in the future!
