Hi all, my name is Alberto, I'm a laserengraver for 7 years and I want to start in making turning pens.

I was searching a lot but I can't find any supplier here in Spain.

Perhaps anyone here knows a good dealer near me (probably UK), where I can buy the lathe, accesories, tools, kits & blanks to start. My bucks are waiting!

I´m impressed with this forum, good info and big people, the best! :)

Welcome Alberto! Glad to have you here. Part of the fun of making pens is the learning itself. But sometimes some methods and aspects can be frustrating. But that is why we are all here - to help one another.

Look at the PDF file in the link below that goes over many aspects of pen turning from finish - to pens - to tools - to methods etc. It is not in detail but a good overview for pen turning.

Alberto, I also live in Spain. In my experience the best is from the US. Example: Bear Tooth Woods (great customer service from Ernie!). I can get a small package here in at most 2 weeks, usually about 1. It really depends on if the Spanish customs holds on to it. I also have purchased from exoticblanks.com and in Hawaii there is another, but the name escapes me at the moment. So you do laser engraving eh? We will talk again.....
