Just received a mini lathe as a gift and wanting to start doing pens. I have done bowls years ago but pens seem fun! Only problem is I don't know what accessories to get for the lathe and what to get for pen kits. I'll be searching the site for info, thanks for listening. Any advice, thanks, Tim

About as far south and west as you would probably want to go.
You have come to the right place, just make a point each morning of reading the threads, you will surprised what good stuff you will absorb, from a great bunch of pen makers.

Had a port call there once; almost worth the trip back just for the carne asada.

Read the forums, ask questions. Search function works great too because chances are someone else has asked the same thing.
