I got my first lathe around Xmas of last year, so I am a newbie. I will post a few pens I have done and a bottle stopper. Now off to reading...I feel a late night comming........

Welcome to turnning, specifically pens. Now you may find something odd happening to you....its like a magnet drawing you to this site. Dont fight it, its not under your control anymore and there is no cure!

Gary, we may have slightly overlapped. I did some great partying in Pensacola during both active duty and while a reservist. It was so long ago that all the statutes of limitation have long since expired!
