Hello, My name is Peter Greathead, and I've been turning pens for few months now. I turn pens on a Taig lathe using 1/2" copper round bar and then drilling, polishing and finishing them with a chemical patina and CA glue. Each pen takes about 3 days from start to finish but it's an enjoyable process aside from the drilling! I'm looking forward to picking up some more tips and tricks. Here's an example of my latest pen.

Welcome Peter

that another great idea I've got from this forum.

Mind you 1/2" copper is damn expensive over here anyway!
