My name is Tonny and are from Norway, been a member her for a little while, so about time to say hey.
Never made a pen before, but found an old bog oak, and wanted to try to Make a pen or 2 out of it, an sell som of it, so here i am reading posts while the old oak is drying.

Where are you in Norway? I lived in and near Oslo (Kolsås) from 1985 - 1991, and visited many towns while I was there.

Live on the west Coast just South of Bergen, on an island called Austevoll

I haven't visited Austevoll -- but I have been to Haugesund and Bergen several times, and one day got on the local ferry just to see some of the islands and towns.

I installed typesetting equipment in Bergen -- and further south of you, in Bryne and Egersund.
 
Welcome to the IAP Tonny. We took a transatlantic cruise last year and stopped at both Stavanger and Oslo. What a gorgeous country! Wish we could get some of those Skolebolle here.
