Hi, this is Steve from El Dorado Hills, California.
I have been lurking for about 6-8 months now.
I am really more of a flatwork person that recently got interested in turning. I still have a few more years (maybe 5) until I retire and want to have my shop fully populated with tools by then.
I started out with a Delta 46-700 lathe and upgraded to used Oneway 1224. I have turned a few bowls and maybe about 25 pens so far. My next door neighbor saw some bullet pens with antlers and wanted as many as I would be willing to make. I gave 8 of them to her at my cost, so I am not really a professional pen maker yet.
