Hello from central Nebraska. I purchased a cheap craftsman tube lathe last September and liked turning so much that I upgraded to a better lathe shortly after. I started turning bowls and decided to start turning pens a few weeks ago. Turning has already become one my favorite ways to relax and enjoy myself. Here's a slimline pro I turned out of walnut and cross cut white oak for work. It gets some rough use, but I figured it would be a good test to see how it and the finish holds up.
