Hello all,
I've been working with wood for a while, and decided to finally take a crack at pen turning! I started making them in December and bumped into this site! Can't wait to see all the great tricks and tips the members here share.

Just took a shot at a segmented pen with Curly Maple, Cocobolo and Mahogany with an Executive pen kit. It came out pretty good for a first attempt!

Your segmented pen looks like it turned out perfect.

I'm trying to learn segmenting right now.tonight I glued up a couple that have aluminum strips linng contrasting wood.I hope those turn out.
