Hello from Kentucky

I've been lurking here for about a month now, and finally decided to sign up. I have about 15 years experience woodworking, and have always enjoyed it as a way to unwind from the day job. Now medically retired, I'm thinking that pen making might be a way to get my woodworking fix since I can no longer do the "big heavy stuff".

I still have to decide on a lathe; in the meantime I'm reading all I can, and am sure that I'll have bunches of questions for the friendly folk here. Hope you'll excuse me when I ask something goofy... and thanks for having me here.
