Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone, I am new to turning so I am looking forward to all of the information that can be gathered from this site. A friend turned me on to this hobby and I cannot wait to get started.

Welcome Kicker, to the addiction, err...fun. You will find a wealth of information here and on other forums. Read it all and absorb, learn and give things a try. Experiment with new ideas. You're already hooked. you just don't know it yet. :biggrin::biggrin:

Find the local chapter of IAP and find out when the next meeting is. I belong to the northern California group with Greg Ketell president. We have a great time meeting, sharing ideas, tutorials, and learning from each other.
