Hello folks,
My name is Joe, and I'm from Dunedin, Fl. I too, fell victim to a pen turning class at the local Woodcraft. I'm married with 3 kids, a former Marine and currently on my 24th year of a new profession. Additionally, I'm a USCG Licensed Master Capt. Having been on the water for many years, I thought those things were called "funnel clouds or water spouts." I now know there's nothing to be worried about, it's just another turner victimized by the "VORTEX." I look forward to talking with those that would be so kind as to share their knowledge and I hope, I too can share something one day besides my Visa card number.
