Hi, just wanted to say hello to the group. I have been woodworking since I was 7 so about 40 years. My last pen I did about 20-25 years ago. I don't have much time but like to when I can get a break. For my day job I fix ATMs and have been for 28 years. Recently decided to get back into pen turning but I need to build a lathe first. My intention is to do custom pens not from kits. Already have a metal lathe and mill so making parts will not be that hard. 1 Will post some pictures when I get some pens done.

Hi Brian !! . Warm welcome to IAP !! . :) :)

Get started now ..... use your metal lathe for pens. . Many of us do. . There are some advantages.
