Hi All,

New member from Northern Australia, new to pen making but have some experience with composites and maching (all metal, not mch wood).

Have been looking at the lurking forums for some time but never had much time ; hope to change that and have few projects in the planning stage. Will keep it simple to start with and use aluminium i think.

Welcome to IAP, Adrian !!!! . Northern Australia, eh ... meaning like Darwin, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, or ....

... used to live in Adelaide, myself.

Jack - just traveled through Vegas a few days ago, as currently in the US, lovely spot.

Look forward to posting some projects in the near future, just planning some materials and tooling.

Welcome to the IAP family all the way fro Mount Compass is South Australia.

I lived in Darwin for 6 years (1993 to 1999) loved it...!

Well, is a big difference between working with steel and wood, world's apart but, good hands and a creative mind, is all is needed to get the job done.

There will be a learning curve but, you could not be in a better place to learn, ask questions and get ideas/motivation.
