Hello everyone. I'm a new pen turner in Anaheim California. I've found a lot of helpful information on this site and I'm happy to now be a member.
I have made 18 pens so far (1-2 each weekend) out of wood, antler, acrylic and tru-stone. Most of them have been for my wife and co-workers, so they've been very feminine models like the PSI Bling and Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, as a software engineer, I rarely ever have use for a pen. So the pens that I make for myself just lay around my desk unused. Most of the things that I do write down, I write just so that I can use one of my pens.
When not making pens, I do leather work. I usually make belts, but I've also made other things like gun belts, holsters and knife pouches.
