Well, I haven't been participating in a while. I have been able to occasionally look through current postings. I'm in the middle of moving. Started taking the shop apart this week. Still uncertain what kind of space I'm going to end up with where I'm headed. We are looking for a home in the Pleasanton/San Ramon area. I think this area is still considered to be in the East Bay of San Francisco, although its over the hills a bit. I will familiarize myself with the lingo more when we get up there. It seems that Northern Californians refer to Southern Californians as those people from "that other state." I'm ok with that. I understand the desire for the separation and I'm happy to be leaving southern CA.
It is a very competitive housing market right now. Buyers hanging in the wings waiting for listings. We are headed up to make an offer on a place... Again. Our house has sold down here and the clock is ticking until the kids finish school. I sure hope our offer is competitive enough to be accepted.
I'm looking forward to meeting some of you who live in that area and meet together. It is soooo beautiful up there. Anything closer to Oregon is ok with me.
I will likely end up taking half of a two car garage until I can arrange something better.
Once I get settled I hope to participate more on the forum.
Blessings to all,
Martin
