Let me start off by saying this gal is only 5 foot tall. She is a customer who was here yesterday looking around at our newest inventory.
The Urn is Red Ash and is one of the largest items I have ever turned.
We are standing in my shop---still working on getting the finish right.

Kalai-- I have a really big show coming up in Oct that I hope this kind of inventory will be in high demand.
At least that's the story I keep telling myself. If I am wrong I will be the owner of a bunch of unique inventory.

Gary, that's neat. I'm sure it was a lot of work and you had to sweep the floor several times before finishing. What kind of hollowing tools to you use? What kind of wood? Well done.

Designed my tools--spent 2 years and a ton of money hireing a machinest to build them.
Filled two 30 gallon trash cans full of chips.
And I can't believe is forgot----Red Ash
