Great press Jerry!! But what happened to the good example with lung protection? Nice to know you "Big Name Guys" can do with out it, but for those of us with a family to take care of, we use stuff that takes care of our lungs. It's good to know you have some kind of "Extra Blessings" that us normal folk don't.
Bottom line...get it right or don't show it off.

Relax, he has what he needs. It just isn't photo friendly. I've been to his shop and turned on his lathe, it is a safe setup.

Jim,
I have a Triton for sanding, and have four "Dust-be-gone" masks in my shop that get used.
There is also a large dust hood and dust collector right at the lathe, and a 1500cfm air cleaner that hangs from the ceiling.

It is noisy in my place when I turn.
You are welcome to come by and turn with me.

Jerry

Gloat= check this brand new powermatic lathe I got for a dollar.

This is not a gloat this is well beyond gloat. I would say Achievement. And a fine achievement it is. Congratulations.
