Has anyone here used this company for any products and if so can you please give a review. Just found out about them on another site and looks interesting. I use Ocooch woods for much of my on-line ordering. I have a ton of wood coming from them tomorrow and will be comparing prices with this other company. I just do not know if quality is as good. Thanks in advance.

JT: Interesting to see what you order looks like. I have been in the hunt for infills and been using Bell Forest products but last couple orders were not to my standard, to much sap wood.

I will tell you this Charlie, I ordered a bunch of 1/16" and 1/8" boards of various woods. I will be making a bunch of boxes this winter that I want to do some segmenting work. Nothing drastic. But I do not want to have to spend a bunch of time resawing and planing and sanding these. My time is limited through the 3 or 4 months I have and I want to have some fun creating. This is the reason for the order. I have also ordered some figured and curly maple because I do not have any more. in 3/4" I have ordered many times from this company and always have been impressed. They are relyable company and if you are not happy with the order they will reship new wood. I buy all my baltic birch from them and will be getting a bunch more 3/4" from them in this order too. But I will compare final pricing and shipping from both these places. The only thing is I have no idea what quality the above link will supply. Now I may run up a small order for testing purposes. To test the quality. This is where the question I asked about a moisture meter comes into play. All the lumber I have stored in my shop is kiln dried and project ready. But again some woods I do not have that I want to use. I have some ambitous projects I want to try. How much I can do over those months remains to be seen but when done I will show all projects. If I can I will take some photos of woods. I have other woods coming from other places too but they are specialty woods.

They're not to far from me. Many years ago I dealt with the previous owner who was in Richland Center, Wisconsin. He was great, allowing you to go through his wear house and pick out what you wanted. He was one of the founders of a scroll saw show which drew big crowds. At that time he had a lot of wood milled esp. for scroll saw workers. The one time I visited the new owners they were very easy to work with. It was located on a farm and most of their work was done in a barn as I recall. I've not heard anything bad about them.

I got my order this morning and quickly looking through it, everything looks very good. They were well packed as always and quality of wood is excellent. I did not open the wrappings because I want it to settle down inside before I check for warping. What I did do was start comparing the prices from Ocooch where I buy from and the link above. On what I ordered Ocooch beat all their pricing and some by quite abit and some by a few pennies. The longest boards I ordered were 24" because I will be making into boxes so do not need longer. Most were 6 to 8" wide. Most were 1/16" and 1/8" thick with a bunch 3/4" thick. I could not find 1/16" lumber on the linked site for the species I ordered. Then I ordered some 3/4" baltic Birch plywood that I use for many projects. The thin lumber is for inlay strips and with the wood I have in stock I can resaw into needed thickness for boxes. That is easy. I need to start using that stuff up and thus this push for projects that will be easy to get rid of. if I ever get down to empty shelves and wall space again, I will from then on order wood as needed. No more hoarding. This leads me to where I am now. At least I found another source for woods of all kinds and much more. The link has tons of items that Ocooch does not carry. Now as far as quality that is another story. As I said i may put together a small order as soon as I settle into the process of what I want to do and compare quality. With Ocooch I am sure of good quality. have been ordering from them for years.

But the question still remains, if anyone has used the link above for wood purchase I would like to hear your reaction and what did you order. Thanks.
