Sounds high priced to me. You can buy 32 oz of PR resin at Michaels for a list price of abour $22, catalyst for $4.99. Michaels usually has a 40% off one item in every sunday paper which would bring the cost to about $17.00 total for resin and hardner. MrFiberglass.com sells a gallon of the stuff for about $32.19 Many examples of very low cost molds here made from cardboard and foil.

looks pretty expensive, you can buy a gallon of PR for about the same price, from Mr Fiberglass .com colorants use powdercoating powder, works good and is also cheap Pearl pigments get from Jacquard about 4.00 a jar, READ EVRY TUTORIAL you can find, watch out some guys use Alumilite, way more expensive and it mixes 1 to 1 by weight not volume; but maybe better results 1 of the top dogs uses ALUMILITE looks pretty expensive, you can buy a gallon of PR for about the same price, as the quart from Penstate, rubber gloves aren’t too bad from Mr. Fiberglass .com for colorants use powdercoating powder, works good and is also cheap Pearl pigments get from Jacquard about 4.00 a jar, READ EVRY TUTORIAL you can find, watch out some guys use Alumilite, way more expensive but maybe better results 1 of the top CASTERS uses ALUMILITE and another uses silmar 41 Polyester resin and the Polyester resin smells just like fiberglass resin which it usually has a yellow tint the Silmar is water clear
