Does anyone know where I can get a pen kit that has a nice cord hooked to it?I got a dentist That I made a solid surface reception top for who wants a pen made from the same material.He wants a nice cord to attach it to the top(Like the pens at the bank).If someone could point me in the right direction I would be thankful!!

Joe, can you combine a slimline with a light-pull kit or take off the "crystal" of one of those Diva pens? Both would give you something to attach a cord.

You could probably modify the necklace pen kit from Berea.

PSI has a couple of these also http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKMAGNEC.html a magnetic one and http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKNECPEN.html which has a quick disconnect like the one used for keys . You could also just take a quick disconnect keychain and adapt it to work on a pen without to much work .

You can use the PSI "necklace" magnetic pen. Change out the tubes to the length you desire. Use the cap hardware ( this part has the magnet-and has to remain the same length) to make a "desk or counter receptacle" . The use the necklace chain to secure your custom pen to the receptacle. This looks good in the white marble tru-stone. I made a few of the for a local bank. They look and work great.

Oops, I see Butch was describing the same pen as I was typing. This does work well and comes with the needed hardware.

My one track mind would not have allowed me to consider combining 2 kits. Thank you all for the help!!I sometimes have trouble thinking out of the box.
