Hart Teak

This is a Hart double twist pen in gold, from Woodcraft. I believe it's an Elegant American pen from Berea. The wood is figured teak from Exotic Blanks. I haven't turned a Hart pen in probably 10 years. I'm surprised I could find the bushings. The finish is Pens Plus.

Why not? It's not like I'm wasting film. I like picturing my pens from all angles, showing all the details, and all sides of the blank.

Very nice work. One question: is berea considered to be a good quality company? I made a baron pen a couple months ago and looked really well made. What are the high end companies in the field? Or is it a matter of model? I mean dayacom makes these really expensive pen kits that (i suppose) are better made than their slimline pen kits.cheers
