Hard on the carry pens

I just took a close look at the Jr. Gent II roller ball I have been carrying for the last couple of months. Man I am hard on this thing. I had no idea. I am much nicer to the fountain pen because I don't want it to leak. I am always mindful of that. The roller ball won't leak and I know it so I guess the gloves are off.

Anyone else have this issue?

I kill pens. I carry them in the front left pocket of my jeans and the clips get scraped up. My girlfriend's purse kills them faster however. More of a pen graveyard in there...

Working in a tough hospital environment and selling a lot there...I've found a few kits (vendors) that don't stand up, Bic is a better finish. At the same time, there are some that kick butt and take names! Mine goes into a scrub top sleeve pocket at least 40 times a day and then in my bag to home...another round the next day, 4 days a week. Good thing is that I sell what I use so the doc's know what they can do.

My work pen is a chrome/BOW long click,and it went thru the washer and the dryer last week,and still looks & writes great.

I hope that it never happens again,though!

I carry a black titanium Sierra and it takes a beating and still looks very good even though I carry it in my pocket.
