Thanks, Sharon ! ! !

Good to spread the word . . . today is the shortest day of the year . . . let's emphasize the positive aspect ! ! !

I'll do my part ! . . . In one big way, the worst is over ! !

I dunno why, but this has been a long time coming . . . so let's look forward to the days getting longer and BRIGHTER ! ! ! . :D:D . . :D:D

The sun may be having its SOLSTICE . . . standing still (or reversing its decline) . . . but that's no reason for the rest of us to sit on our fannies .

Let's CELEBRATE ! ! ! . . . After all, that's what the season was all about . . . before it was called Christmas !

( If you are in the Southern Hemisphere, you might have to do some re-wording ! ! )

Our day today is 7 hours and 43 minutes long and it started with the sun shining and it will end with some sun poking through the clouds. That usually means a colourful sunset. It's going to warm up to -12ºC too! ☺️ All is good here.

Ho! Ho! Ho!!!
