Happy accident hybrids

A friend and I were working on a couple of jewelry boxes a while back, and there was a mishap with the router table. I didn't want to scrap a good piece of Cherry, so I began filling the recess with excess resin from my castings. The finished piece was cut into these blanks, revealing 5-8 different layers of resin.

Blanks are 7/8" square by 5 1/2" long.
Lot is $25 shipped.

Joe, how deep is the resin into the blank, would there be any left showing if the blank was turned for a Sierra or similar size pen?

The resin is around 3/8" to 1/2" deep throughout the blanks.
