Hanging it up!

After 47 years of service in church related vocations I have announced my retirement effective at the end of this month. The Lord has blessed me with great jobs, great friends, and meaningful ministry. Doesn't get much better than that!. Plus, it will give me more time to hang out here and maybe even turn a few pens. I just got an order for 50 custom pens so I will be a little busy for awhile. :biggrin:

Don't think I can ever hang it up on being a minister. But I can hang it up on being on call 24/7! :biggrin:

Freddie, I wish you well. As a pastor I have some idea of your sentiment. However @ 38 I have a ways to go. In my denomination guys are always looking for people to fill in while they are gone, and churches too when they are in transition. I pray you will be as busy as He wants you to be
