Hello! I hope this is the right place to ask this. After many google searches and perusing the forums I cant seem to find what I am looking for, at least partially because I don't know what it would be called. I saw on a video somewhere someone cutting a pen blank using what looked like a japanese pull saw in some sort of jig. The pen was held securely in a sliding jig that allowed the pull saw to cut perfectly straight. I cannot seem to find this jig or any evidence of similar techniques anywhere. If anyone knows where this jig came from or how I could replicate it, please let me know! Thanks a bunch :)

It is called a miter box. They have been around a long time and come in various models and gadgets added to them but the simple ones are basically a couple 2X4 with slots cut in them. Do a google search and you will see many examples.
