If you have seen the posted photographs of those IAP members that have been injured then you just might want to look into one of these body saving devices. I have an earlier version but will not use the table saw without using this Gripper device for many of my cutting operations.

With Proper use of this system it is possible to make accurate 1/8" cuts along the length of your boards. With a little bit of ingenuity we can even cut thinner slices with extreme safety and make repeat cuts all day long.

Be sure to view the eight minute demonstration video near the bottom of the page. A little lengthly, but definitely worth the time to see this device in use.

BTW, ptreeusa.com has an online catalog that is just full of very nicely priced items of use woodworkers. They stock one of the most complete line of injected plastic hose connectors and accessories I have ever seen. These guys make using hoses for dust collection a breeze since all the components are readily available.

Maybe this will be of help to some of you ... I hope so! :D

Hank .... You are most welcome for the info. I hope that you enjoy it when you get one. I have not had one incident where I suffered any type of 'kickback', nor has my hand or fingers felt more secure when passing so close to the spinning blade. Enjoy your added sense of safety my Friend! :D
