Just got home from the meeting, a little over 3 hour drive, I enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to the next one. It sounds as if there will be much going on in future meetings. Either way though the fellowship was nice.

Even more new faces this time.. it's good to put a face to the name!

The first meetings were mostly spent getting to know each other, see
what it's like to attend meetings and once in a while do a demo. But as
someone said, 200 miles is too far to drive for a blank swap.

So .. Neil is putting together an agenda for the next meeting just in case
Fearless Leader is still out giving heart attacks to ship's captains.
(I wonder if he's a pirate? )

Still more names we haven't seen yet, so if you haven't come to a meeting
yet, jump in. It's a great group of people, no pressure (unless Neil is staring
at you and needs a volunteer .. in which case, you should RUN ) and you
can usually come home with lots of freebies.

Next meeting is set for May 17th, 1PM and we're expecting a good crowd.
Neil can post the expected agenda when the guest speakers confirm.
Rumor has it that he is signing Richard Raffan, Alan Lacer, Steven D Russell
and Mike Darlow. Not sure about who will speak at the July meeting yet..

Rumors are flying already!!!!:eek::eek: Just to set the record straight, I will ask those named above as soon as the bank account gets big enough to fly me and the family first class to their areas. The best offer I have so far for the next meeting is Charlie doing a bellydance in the parking lot:bananen_smilies027:. Go Charlie, Go Charlie!!!!!:biggrin:

That was ONCE .. I was DRUNK .. and you still owe me $10 for that show..
 
It was good to see everyone again and meet the new people.
I would like to thank everyone for the blanks that were handed out.
Looking forward to the demos and such at the following meetings.
 
Sounds like you all had a great time. I was seriously bummed when my schedule got changed but the good news was that the captain did not have a heart attack only some muscular pain. Charlie they only accuse me of being a pirate when they get the bill. I'm usually refered to in other less flattering terms. Oh and Neil I've still got a box of freedom pens that I've had in the car ready for the trip south twice now. Guess I'll have to stick them in the mail.
