I have not made a pen since I bought my fixer-upper mobile home about 3 months ago.After working almost every day on it,along with the moving,I needed a break.....so I got out in the workshop ,cranked up the lathe and made a pen!
I just love the Accord pen kit,it's so nice to write with,and I had 1 kit left over from Christmas that I wanted to make using the guitar neck scrapwood I have.
I made a second one,ready to assemble with a Walnut/Maple one.The completed one is Koa/Maple.
I sure am rusty,but it felt good to just get away for awhile and do something totally different that painting walls
