Guitar Pick Display in Walnut

The husband of an wonderful artist at the Gallery n Gifts asked me to make a guitar pick display for picks given to his wife at concerts. It will be his anniversary present to her. She has quite a few collector picks and loves live rock music. Here is what I made. It has six 16" rows to hold her pick collection. Each row has a groove in the shelf which holds black foam rubber. The pick goes between the front of the foam and the lip on the shelf. They "float" 1/8" from the surface.

Pretty spiffy Mark. Every type of collection deserves a custom display/collection box. What you crafted I suspect will be a valued addition to her appreciation of her collection - and that is very cool!

I play bass and have for a very long time. The high school dance photo shows me with a guitar, but bass it was shortly after this. The second one is as a young teacher playing with kids and others at lunch.
