Grizzly metal lathe with digital speed readout.

I am interested in buying a small metal lathe from grizzly (about $700) and wanted to know opinions from the forum. I want to make steel bushings and delrin bushings at this point. Luckily a local accomplished machinist has agreed to help me set it up and teach me the ropes. He has a giant Grizzly metal lathe - it looks like a Buick. It is amazing to see it and him in action.

I have a Sieg 7x14 lathe. You can find it under various brands. I recommend checking out the Little Machine Shop models and compare them with the Griz and others.
There are a lot of accessories and tune up suggestions.

If I was going to buy a lathe now I'd get an LMS model.
