This year I have been craving grilled food. I have done steaks, chicken, ect. Well today I wanted to do a pork tenderloin, with Kikomon sauce. Well at first I was going to get the one about 6 inches long, then I though oh man that left overs for lunch at work tomorrow, my mouth started watering, so I got the one that is 2 about 12 inches long. They were precut. Got some green beans (at least wife didn't burn them this time), and some corn on the cob, and made some biscuits. Well I poured some kikimon on them, put them in the fridge. I had to run down the road to get fatback for the greens. Well my wife told the girls it was chicken, they KILLED IT. Needless to say there are no left overs for me tomorrow. Maybe I should have told them it was the snake that got in the shop.....

Sounds like my low and slow smoked butt. When I smoke chicken I have to make two. One for the appetizer and one for the meal.

I make a couple of meals on Sunday's for my lunch's for the week - I also did a pork loin today - but I had it put away before the family got home from the store so I am good for a couple of days... I will think of you when I get the first taste tomorrow...lol

Went fishing yesturday with my 6 year old daughter. I did the old trick of watch my pole while I go over here. All told she caught a dozen. Was willing to stay out for a long time. So that is good.

Here is an idea marinate your think chops in green chili salsa for a few hours then freeze for 30 to 45 min til frozen on the out side but not frozen still then grill on med. heat. That way you get a nice crust on the out side with out drying out the inside. Let rest for about minutes. Nice and juicy

This thread got me jonesin' for some grilled steak. I just picked up a couple nice ribeyes and a bag of charcoal. It's snowing off and on here today, but I don't care. Grilled goodness--it's what's for dinner.

It was low 70s here over the weekend, but we just plunged back into March weather. Luckily the snow isn't sticking, it's just flurries.

That's Minnesota: if you want the weather to change, just wait a day.
