Here is my latest. Made from vintage cellulose acetate I bought from a member here.
The material was a tad thin to make a cap out of, I had to be very precise locating the centers as to not waste any material and the walls of the cap ended up extremely thin. I put a silver ring at the end of the cap and rolled the edges of the silver over so none of the CA is exposed so it won't chip if someone drops the cap on a hard surface. The widest point of the cap is 13.5mm using a M12x0.75 thread... so REALLY thin. With that silver ring at the end, it feels plenty sturdy though.
I haven't made the section yet, so no pictures with the cap off. The section will be black ebonite with a Jowo #6 nib.
